Howard Thomas

Overnight the Thomas family’s life has been turned upside down. The full diagnosis for Howard has been explained. Howard has a Desmoid tumour and fibromatosis growth, which is complex, lengthy to treat and very rare. The whole family has exuded positivity throughout these most difficult days and there are many more to come.

He is now in the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital under the lead for rare tumours.

They will be treating him with chemotherapy which he will start on January 4th 2024. He has had a permanent canula placed under the skin and the treatment plan is Chemo for a day a week for the next 6 months and then a day a fortnight for the following 6 months.

We would like to raise money to get together a chemo boredom pack for Howard starting with an iPad for him to have movies and music on for the journey and while having Chemo every Thursday.

And then we would like help support the family .

Howard has been through so much already. He’s dealt with everything with bravery and maturity well beyond his 12 years. Everyone is so immensely proud of how he has kept his sense of humour and remained positive.
