Funeral and unexpected expenses

This go fund me is created for the Appleton and Terwilliger family for my little sister, Betty-Lynn Appleton and her boyfriend, Ethan Terwilliger, following the terrible loss of their baby boy, Ryder Alan Appleton-Terwilliger.

Betty-Lynn was struggling with a high risk pregnancy due to preeclampsia and she was monitored closely by specialists and her OBGYN. On July 15, 2023, she was rushed to the emergency room due to severe cramping. Upon arriving to the labor and delivery room medical staff did their examination to check on Baby Ryder and Betty-Lynn. In that moment our families suffered a tragic loss, medical staff were unable to find a fetal heartbeat. Medical staff then proceeded to check Betty-Lynn’s vitals, she was experiencing a hypertension episode to where her life was at risk. Later that evening, Betty-Lynn delivered precious baby Ryder at 10:22. Ryder weighed 3 pounds 11 ounces and was 18 inches long. During labor, the physician discovered major clotting behind the placenta. It was determined that placenta abruption took place to explain the tragedy that took place.

Resulting in the heartbreaking loss of baby Ryder, our families are requesting any bit of help so Betty-Lynn and Ethan can grieve the loss of their baby boy. Any bit would be greatly appreciated and would help assist with medical bills and help fund the funeral. Our families are requesting prayers in this difficult time as well. Thank you and God Bless.
