Brett Halvorsen's FIGHT to beat colon cancer

On Friday, September 4th, Brett Halvorsen went into the Doctor to get the results read to him of a previously done MRI, due to some lower back pain.  During that visit he got the SHOCKING news that his back pain, was due to colon cancer.  

Please consider donating to help ease the extra financial expenses they will incur  over the next several months with medical expenses, missed work days, extra hotel stays up at the Mayo clinic, gas, food, etc. 

Their next step is a colonoscopy on September 15th at the Mayo clinic.  After the doctors review and run tests from this appointment, they will diagnose the case within the following week. They are scheduled down again for another appointment at the Mayo clinic on September 23rd to meet with the Mayo team and then come up with Brett's treatment plan.

They are also asking for continued prayers as they find their new “normal” in this situation. They are blessed with all the support they have already gotten from their family, friends, and community, but please continue to join them in prayer as they proceed on this journey.

Brett and Ashley have peace and confidence that the Lord has this under his control.
