Xaia's health care

Lise and Billy welcomed beautiful baby girl Xaia into their family in October of 2020. She has brought so much joy to the family and friends near and far.

Recently Xaia has been experiencing significant health issues and the doctors in Burundi have reached their limitations and can do nothing more for her. Lise and Billy are now faced with having to travel outside of the country to seek medical care for Xaia.

This endeavor is overwhelming and there are a lot of unknowns ahead. Lise and Billy have taken Xaia to France to have consultations with doctors there.  After extensive testing, Lise and Billy have traveled with their whole family (including Iman and Makayla) to the States for further consultations in hopes of finding some answers.  Their family has taken on the unexpected expenses for this travel including flights, transportation, lodging, food, and childcare. On top of this will be the actual cost for Xaia's medical treatment, which is all to be out of pocket for Lise and Billy.

This is all that is known for now. We are hopeful to receive some answers and to have a plan soon, but more information will follow.

Lise is one the most loving people I have ever met. Let's let her feel our love in return and help her through this uncertain time for her family. All money raised will go straight to Lise and Billy.
