Hit and run medical bills

My oldest brother bob was the victim of a hit and run. He has a broken leg, broken arm, broken shoulder blade.
Asking for money to help cover his medical bill's/living expenses as he will be out of work for a while, while he heals.
His story:
Sitting here trying to ignore the pain and can't stop thinking about the accident.
I do know that because of my height and size that my body absorbed the impact of the car. Had I been shorter and thinner, I'd be in a lot worse situation or even dead.
The person had to have been drunk or worse to hit the brakes to get me off the hood, and then hit the gas and hit me again while I was on the floor. I remember being on the floor and seeing a beer bottle being thrown out the window onto the asphalt where I was.
The area where I was hit was on a dark corner with no lights and no crosswalk. It was at 745pm Monday Nov. 18th that I got hit. The cross streets were at Pyle and Las Vegas blvd. The area is residential, and what I could remember about the car is that it was a dark color. I didn't see the make or model, but I do keep getting flashbacks of the headlights. The lights were square like on a Ford Fusion.
I don't currently have insurance, because the benefits at my job haven't kicked in yet. So if all of my friends in Vegas and in Clark County can share this to get the word out.
If the guy who hit me gets caught his auto insurance will cover my expenses, if not I'm gonna have $10k plus in med bills.
Do me a favor and make the scared pos Facebook famous, so that hopefully he'll turn himself in.
