Xao Chia Xiong's Funeral

Hello, my name is Chee Vang Pao Xiong. I am the oldest son of Xao Chia Xiong.

My father was taken from us unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2022. My father, Xao Chia had a double bypass heart surgery on February 3, 2022. After four days post-surgery, his body went into shock causing his blood pressure to drop drastically with irregular heart rhythm. Unfortunately, on February 7, 2022, our beloved father Xao Chia passed away leaving behind his wife, Chao Vang, 3 sons, 9 daughters, and 16 grandchildren.

Xao Chia was a devoted husband, father, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He was brave and selfless. Xao Chia was a member of the SGU Veterans who fought and served during the Vietnam/Secret War 1961-1975 in Laos. He migrated to the United States in 1994 to seek for a better opportunity for his family. Xao Chia lived a wonderful life and was known as an honorable man in the Hmong community. Xao Chia was loved by many.

Family and friends, who are near and far, have asked where and how can they donate for my dad’s funeral. For this reason, we created this GoFundMe page for those who cannot attend my dad’s funeral and wants to donate. Donations will be appreciated and will be use towards my dad's funeral expenses.

Memorial service will be held on April 1st to April 4th at Faith Community Religious Facility located on 1495 N Chestnut Ave, Fresno, CA 93703.
