Xavier’s Fight Against Cancer

Gabriel, Francesca, Xavier and Xuriah are in need of prayers and support.  Last month, January 2021, my 7 year old nephew Xavier was diagnosed with brain cancer, pineoblastoma. Whatstarted out as what Gabe and Francesca thought was your general stomach bug turned out to be something way bigger. My brother and his family were 23 hours away from all family and friends when they took Xavier to the ER, where a CT scan was completed and showed the brain tumor and hydrocephalus. He had his first surgery in Salt Lake City to drain the fluid and once he was stable enough was cleared to return to Texas. What was supposed to be a 23 hour drive took much longer with them needing to make multiple stops. He has had two more procedures at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. On January 28th, he underwent a 9 hour procedure to remove the tumor. He had some complications during the procedure, however, he is stable and fighting! He is currently waiting to be transferred to the inpatient rehabilitation unit.  Xavier’s fight will continue with radiation and chemotherapy at MD Anderson . With bills piling up, any support would be greatly appreciated.
