Help Joana Rebuild Her Home

Hi - maybe we’ve met before but if not, I’m Joana! I am a portuguese researcher currently living in Houston. As my passion project, I have bought an old house that I have slowly been renovating and customizing, while sharing the process with all of you on my instagram @joana_bianchi.

One of my favorite things about

this house was always the backyard with its big pine tree.

That same pine tree fell on my house and split it in half last night, when a surprise tornado hit my area.

Although I take full responsibility for my home, I know some tough times are coming. First of all, I need to replace essential items that are under the tree and I can’t access for a whe. Then I will need to pay for the insurance to be activated. Assuming this all goes well and I have a structurally solid home again, I will still need to re-do all of the work I had already done in the house.

These funds would allow for me to pay for some of those things, but the truth is anything helps and anything will provide a lot of comfort in the immediate times . most importantly - THANK YOU for always being here ❤️‍
