A MIRACLE FOR MELODY
WHAT'S GOING ON?
It is with a heavy heart that I am starting a GOFUNDME account for my youngest daughter, MELODY JELLEL STEINHOUR.
Melody has just been diagnosed with an invasive, aggressive form of breast cancer.
She will be undergoing a double mastectomy and breast restoration in early February, followed with chemo
and/or radiation as needed.
WHY SHE NEEDS HELP
Although Melody has a steady job, it does not provide long-term sick leave. Right now, they are projecting she will be off work for 2-3 months. Melody is a single mom of three sons. Of the two who are still at home, one is in high school and one is in his senior year of college, so this will be a major financial difficulty for her family.
All donations will be used to pay her house payment, utilities, car, insurance, groceries, etc., not to mention the medical costs themselves. I'm sure we can all understand what would happen if we had to go 3 months without any income!
CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
It is my hope to help alleviate the stress of this overwhelming financial burden by asking people to consider making a donation to help pay her bills during this most difficult time.
As a widow living on a fixed income, I totally understand that most of us don't have "extra" money laying around. But, I also think that people actually like helping others and making a difference when they can. I am believing that, together, we can be that help and difference in Melody's life as she walks this path that we all hope and pray we never have to face.
