Let's get Christopher a Bike!

Think that Smile needs his own Special Needs Bike to go with it ;) It will grow with him, for years!
I just want him to enjoy what all kids enjoy in life...some normalcy! Too many days of therapy, surgeries, recovery, illness. Forget pain and discomfort....and enjoy a beautiful ride on the bike :) He's needs this type of bike because he is disabled and needs the proper supports and safety. I know it's expensive! Sad that everything for a special needs child is so expensive .
I know you all already know my little superstar Christopher. If you haven't here's a quick summary of my beautiful and happy 7 year old. He's had 10 surgeries before 6 years old, 2 of those were before 6 months old because he was in heart failure. Unfortunately he still has heart issues, which will require more surgeries in the future. He was recently diagnosed with liver fibrosis as well. His medical issues are quite a long list, all due to Joubert Syndrome. It has, and will continue to be a challenging journey for him. Hopefully this will be the year with No surgeries :)
A Special Needs bike will benefit him in so many ways. Great for cardiovascular (very important for him), strengthening of his muscles, improving his coordination and balance, increase his range of motion and eye/hand coordination. And just old plain fun :)
The most important thing I can do as his Mom, is to keep him happy. Happiness gives him strength. I want him to enjoy the simple things all other children can. Like riding a bicycle! As you know I am a single stay at home Mom, to care for him. So it's a always a challenge financially to afford things for him. I am hoping you all might be able to help fund a special needs bicycle for him. As you can see he loves the bicycle! We were lucky enough to have it on loan for 2 weeks, but sadly must return it. It would be absolutely wonderful if he could have HIS OWN bike to be able to enjoy the simple part of just being a kid!
