Mark Needs Your Help and Support

As many of you may know, Mark Turner has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called a Chondrosarcoma. He has had a very delicate operation that removed 80 per cent of a very aggressive form of this disease. Mark is an extremely brave man who is fighting to valiantly defeat this insidious invader; however, To win his battle He MUST travel to the USA for radical radiation treatment that is not available in Australia. He must make the journey soon.

You can imagine the effect that Mark’s illness has had on his family and himself. He had to use up all of his work entitlements, holiday and sick leave. Mark being Mark, is stoic and positive but is stressed about making ends meet. He does not need such worry while dealing with his health issue.

As we all know, Mark has a wonderful outlook on life and maintains a forward-looking attitude even though he has a major fight on his hands. He is a wonderful family man and is much loved by his entire family and his many friends and colleagues. He has energy, exuberance, and a love for music. He has a caring, kind, and selfless heart. His family has been wonderfully supportive in a very stressful time for the four of them.

As you can imagine the target amount will barely cover costs and we are hopeful that donations will exceed that amount.
