Replacing Stolen Items

Eh, I hate asking for help... but I've really not got any choice if I want to keep working and support my family.

So here it goes

I'm a university student studying song writing atm, as well as a full time musician with lots of gigs booked in for the year. Music is my only means of income, which would be fine but unfortunately I've also been supporting my mother over the last year as she's suffering with heart failure and isn't able to earn a wage.

On top of this I regularly donate to charity with my takings as a musician, I volunteer working hands on with autistic children and teens, I host multiple open mic nights were I recording (to a really high standard) the acts and provide them with the footage for free as my way of supporting them back. I'm also a mentor for young up and coming musicians... And I would love to be able to continue these things!

However all of this has become impossible and my career and families security is looking very shaky after my car was broken into whilst securely parked in an NCP carpark in Manchester city centre yesterday.

They took

2x wireless shure mic (£300 each)

2x unbranded mics (£30 each)

1x brand new Apple Mac laptop with logicpro and all the plug ins (£2200+)

1x iPad (£600)

2x studio AKG mics (£400+ each)

A huge bag of brand new leads (£350+)

1x 8 input mixing desk (£300)

2x Extension cables (£30)

3x LED lights (£100)

1x Brand new studio headphones (£150)

4x DI boxes (£25 each)

1x Interface system (£100)

They also stole my pack of fags and two tins of dog food... But I'll let that slide. Gotta laugh about it otherwise I'll be crying haha!

I'm asking for the money to replace the laptop and Ipad, the rest I'll just have to recoup in time, while saving up for proper insurance... lesson learned.

Unfortunately the car only had contents insurance to cover about £500 and apples top insurance doesn't cover theft on laptops. So I'm absolutely scuppered moving forwards.

I don't expect to be able to replace what I've lost without saving up for a long while, but any help I could get from anyone would be so greatly appreciated right now.
