Giving Tuesday
As some of you may know, the printing of our paper has been on a brief hiatus the last few months. We have missed all of you so much! In the weeks before we decided to pause the printing of our papers, we were struggling with the impact of the pandemic on paper sales and our organization. Assessing our bandwidth and our books, we decided the best thing we could do was limit our spending and try to determine a path forward during this unprecedented time.
Taking a break from the biweekly costs of producing a paper have gotten us a little breathing room. We’ve been able to put time and effort into fundraising online, researching cashless payment options, and figuring out new ways to keep our vendors safe and supported during the pandemic.
We are thrilled to be back and printing the paper, but this means that we are in need of more donations to continue to stay afloat and serve our vendors. We are asking, if you can, please contribute this Giving Tuesday to help us continue to grow during this unusual time. Your donations keep us and the vendors going, and your support helps our vendors to continue to make an income during this pandemic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with us.
Warmly and with much love,
Abby DeRigo
