Hello.  I'm Deborah Vanderburg, 'honorary aunt' to Brandon Barnes.  He is a guy who's had more than his fair share of bumps in the road in his 19 years.  He lives with his parents, Roger and Tracy in Plano, TX.

Brandon was born with hydrocephalus.  It has caused many problems for him over the years.  But Brandon and his family have faced those with bravery and strength.  Over the past two weeks though, he has experienced a new series of setbacks and complications, more than any one family should have to bear alone.

In the past 13 days, Brandon has been in four different hospitals in our area...yes four!  He's having one medical issue after another.  His parents are just like the rest of us...working hard to provide for their family.  Sadly the high cost of these four hospitalizations is going to be an overwhelming burden for them.  No one ever plans for four hospitalizations in 13 days.

I'm asking you to donate to Brandon's Medical Fund to help his parents' pay for the bills that are to come.  I think the bills will start arriving in late February 2016.

I can't snap my fingers and make Brandon's medical problems go away, but I can try and help ease his family's burden by sharing their story with you.  

His mom and dad need to focus on getting Brandon well, not worrying about how to pay for all of this.  

I'm doing everything I can to help; I've spent a lot of time at hospitals with them in the past week.  Please help me help this wonderful family.
