Please help! Need IV Antibiotics!

I really hate asking for help like this, but I have been encouraged to do so by some family and several friends, as the need is urgent and serious. First of all I want to say how touched I have been by the outpouring of love, support, prayer and phone calls. So many of you have asked what you could do to help, and until now all I could ask was love and prayers. Now I need some life-saving drugs, and I simply cannot afford them.
As many of you know, I am entering my ninth day of a hospitalization that has revealed infection and damage to both my mitral and tricuspid heart valves. I have been receiving several IV antibiotics and they have been running many tests. Yesterday i received a transfusion of two pints of blood, which really made me feel a lot better. I was told that I'd need open heart surgery to replace those two valves, due to the medically-resistant nature of one of the organisms infecting my heart and lungs. I still may have to have the surgery down the road, but thank Heavens not just yet! After much consideration, the team of doctors here have decided that they will attempt to clear the infection medically before subjecting me to open heart surgery. This involves TWO MONTHS of twice daily IV infusions of two different antibiotics, and about 10 visits from a home health nurse! The lowest cost my case manager could find was 2140 for the medications and supplies, and 85 dollars for each of ten nursing visits. 2990 altogether.
I simply don't have it and Mom has had so many major MS-related medical expenses lately, under home health care IV treatment herself right now, they are unable to help more than they already are with living and other expenses. Dad and I are the primary caregivers for Mom, with substantial help during the day from Miss Benjamin, of course, but I really need to get home where I can help daddy evenings, nights, and weekends. I worry about them every night.
I know times have been trying for a lot of people lately. I know that most of you reading this would, like me, send a check for the whole amount if you were able. I come from good people, and I know what a gift that is! I need this medicine to live, or I wouldn't be asking, and I would appreciate so deeply every dollar that you are able to spare. I know this medication is vitally important, but God is the True Healer, and he has already done tremendous things this past week, putting just the right person in front of me at just the right time, for instance. It's not every day that you have a DOCTOR praying with you and giving you passages of Scripture to heal your heart from another angle!
