House Fire - All is lost

LastLast night my daughter lost her house to a fire.
Kaylee is a single mother of a 6 year old son, Perseus. Kaylee is hardworking and a full time college student to become an esthetician.
Last night about 9:30 pm Kaylee woke to someone pounding on her door screaming "Your house is on FIRE!" Kaylee looked out her upstairs tipout window to see the roof engulfed in flames. She started yelling for her therapy cat, Maxx. She was unable to grab her cat so she ran down the stairs to escape. She took her purse and ran out into the street in her pajamas. In that manic moment; she realized Maxx had not come out- so she ran back into the house to rescue Maxx. After inhaling fumes she knew she had to exit the house. She ran out and jumped into her car.
By this time people where standing in the street, from a neighoring business ... She yelled for them to move so she's could get her car out of the driveway before the fire reached her car.
Local police and fire engines came blazing down the down. About 8 fire engines and 6 police vehicles arrived within minutes.
Kaylee called crying "Mom, my house is on fire -what do I do- can you come!?!" ... as I live a short distance from her I ran to my car and drove over. (I should mention that Perseus was staying the night with me). As I drove towards her house -the skyline was lit up and black smoke rolled through the residential area where she lived.
When I arrived, Kaylee was standing shivering in the cold in her pajamas and slippers... She was sobbing and trying to see if Maxx had escaped. It took about two hours to contain the fire.
After the flames were extinguished enough for the firefighters to enter the house... They broke the second story bed room window (belonging to my grandson) and started pumping massive amounts of water into the house. It looked as though a river was flooding out of the downstairs doorways.
Kaylee kept asking "Have you found my cat? Did you see Maxx... He ran under my bed.
It seemed like we were standing there forever as the fire department entered the house... Fire horses shooting water in all directions... Perseus crying in the car...
After some time we walked over and spoke to the Fire Chief who informed us that Maxx was recovered but was deceased... They brought poor Maxx's lifeless little body to Kaylee in a black plastic bag.
Kaylee waited for the Fire Marshall to arrive. About 1 a.m. she entered her home - all was lost. The smell was horrible ... She could barely breathe ... Her eyes filled with tears and burned like they were on fire.
In just one night- her life was at a major unexpected crossroad. Though she and Perseus are safe ... She lost her treasured cat and all her valuables. What wasn't destroyed by fire is tainted with soot or drenched in water.
The Fire Marshall and the police believe that the fire was started by an unknown person in the backyard. Witnesses say that there was a lady wearing a hoodie wandering along the back fence of my daughter's yard, picking up cigarette butts lighting them and discarding them. The neighboring business had reported that they had asked the lady on several occasions to leave the area. The investigation was closed with no identity of the suspected person. The Fire Marshall believes that the fire was initiated by the lady in the hoodie picking up the cigarette butts, lighting them and then discarding them.
Kaylee does not have renter's insurance. The owner of the home did not have the house insured. The owner will not be rebuilding but will be demolished the home.
Kaylee will need to replace clothing, furniture, electronics and need to rent another home ( F, L &D). In addition, she has to costs of cremation and burial of Maxx.
As you can see in the picture there's really not much that can be salvaged. We are seeking any help. Kaylee and Perseus have much to rebuild. We're looking for assistance with her first, last and deposit. We are also seeking any donated gift cards to replenish clothing and household items.
Kaylee only escaped with vehicle and her purse however; she lost all her belongings in the house fire. Perseus lost his entire bed room and toys- they both lost Maxx. She is a struggling single mom trying to better her life.
We are blessed that all are alive. But now we need to rebuild. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
