Help Ethan Adjust to His New Life

It breaks my heart every time I recall Brendan ringing me last Thursday afternoon with such pain and emotion in his voice as he told me what had just happened.  Ethan's life changed in an instant that day due to an out of control car which crashed into Ethan and two of his mates as they waited on the footpath at some lights to cross the road.  Ethan copped it the worst being crushed between the car and another obstruction causing multiple breaks in his left leg and huge trauma to his left foot which ultimately had to be amputated.

 

I have known Eth since he was about 8 years old.  Ethan is such a good kid, always respectful and polite.  He has always given 100% to anything he does, especially sport and I have had the pleasure of being involved in his football, cricket and basketball.  He is a wonderful big brother to his siblings and a great friend to my son and many others.

 

Ethan and his father have both played cricket for our club, Ethan being instrumental in a junior premiership.  We pride ourselves at our club for supporting our members and friends when in need and we feel it appropriate that we support Ethan and his family as he enters this new challenging period of his life.  Our club will start this Fund by donating $500.  Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
