Ave Maria Charitable Film Fundraiser

The story of “Ave Maria” is at its heart a story of needless tragedy, and sadly one that many people in the world are living at this moment. Five Tribes Cinema Productions is on a mission to create a short film in order to raise money for the Covid Relief Fund—helping those who have been affected by the coronavirus grieve and heal from this tragedy together through film.
We’ve set out to capture the heartache of watching a loved one die, the pain of being away from them in their final days, and examine how we can cope with such heartache. The central character in “Ave Maria,” Joseph Hernandez, turns to God in his hour of need as he looks to find solace in the loss of his wife. It is important for us to showcase that this is one story and one tool for finding hope in a world where millions of other people are coping in their own ways.
What started out as a question of how we, as filmmakers, can give back to those actively fighting the virus on the front lines turned into a practical means of raising money and awareness for this unifying struggle. Indefinitely, all proceeds from this film will be put towards the Covid Relief Fund. In order to make this project come to fruition we’re asking for your support to bring this beautiful and very prominent story to life.
