Please join us in supporting Bonnie Bowman. Bonnie is battling cancer. First diagnosed Friday June 12th, a biopsy has revealed bilateral Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The diagnosis came after a period of persistent cough and nearly four months of treatment for bronchitis. Bonnie is traveling from Columbia, SC to Georgia on Sunday June 21st to start fighting this cancer battle at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. More About Our Dear Friend Bonnie Bowman

OH HOW SWEET SHE IS! Proud wife of Bob Bowman and mother of four wonderful children son R.J. and triplets (Kayla, Katie, and Jereme). Devoted to health care for over twenty years as a CNA and Patient Care Coordinator.  Her initial career in health care started in California at Pomona Valley Hospital.  She has been a South Carolina resident since 1995.  Her S.C. career history includes Lexington Oncology, Lexington Family Practice, Odyssey/Reliant Health Care, Abundant Life Hospice, and finally in 2009 literally putting her love and heart into Heartstrings Hospice. She was often referred to as “The lady in the Heartstrings Hospice commercial”. Six years later she remains employed with now Hospice Advantage formerly Heartstrings Hospice. She is involved with many wonderful organizations inclusive of SCPM, Alzheimer’s Association, Caregivers Coalition, Parkinson’s Support Group, Care Buddies Support Group, SCPM, BNI, Juke Box Memories, and Eastern Stars.
