Vanda Guthrie's Recovery

As many of you know, Vanda Guthrie, an integral member of our Athens music and Salvation Army community, has endured a multiple vessel open heart surgery this week and is still hospitalized at Athens Regional.  

Vanda has always been the first to contribute her time and talents towards fund raising and charity events. Vanda and Mike are self-employed and Vanda is expected to be out of work 2-3 months per her cardiologist. We greatly appreciate your prayers, love, emotional support and/or financial contributions in this difficult time.

If there is any way we could set up a meal delivery plan or ask for the community’s help in making sure that the family has food when Vanda comes home, we would be indebted to your kindness. As many know Vanda is the driver in the family and getting to the store or cooking meals is going to an impossible feat for the family at this time.

We know you want to help and the best way is to contribute any amount to this crowd funding site; no amount is too small and every gift, prayer, and kindness is greatly appreciated.
