The Real Fight Against Cancer......

Update- on January 28, 2016 my mother, Lori Ann passed away. She had a cold that turned into pneumonia. Unfortunately her body wasn't able to fight it. There wasn't enough oxygen in her blood to support her heart.  I was notified very late. By the time I made it to Vegas I spent a few precious hours with my mom. She was heavily sedated so I don't know if she knew I was there.


Please keep keep her grandbabies in your thoughts. She loved them so.

Hello,
  This is very hard for me to do, but after today's appt. with my  surgeon, I have to do this.
  I was diagnosed in August with Breast cancer. The month of September was filled with doctor apps. one after another leading up to 4 doctors in one day.
  I have use all my sick / vacation time to be off work for all the biopsies and follow up appointments. 
  This means starting on Oct 19 - I have pre op for 2 days, surgery 21st, insert the catheter on the 22nd and follow that with radiation, twice a day from the 23rd - 30th. Short term Disability will only pay 2 days, after the first week . First paycheck - Nov. 27.

 I am a AF Veteran and have been own my own for longer than I care for.  I pay my bills and live paycheck to paycheck. For the first time, I am scared because I have no back up plan/money. I am supposed to buy a sports bra, pain pills, vitamins all before surgery. Let alone gas in my car for the 30+miles a day treatment. I have 34.00 in the bank after today's appt.

 Since PCH has not dropped off my 7000. a week grand prize money, I am asking my friends and family to help me out.    

  I am strong enough to beat the cancer. With my friends and family praying for me.
