Help the Children of Mityana, Uganda's Orphanage!

Hello everyone,

My name is Nobel and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of Matthew Ssentongo, a remarkable young man from Uganda who continues to endure and take upon himself the weight of his Fathers legacy - all for the sake of the children he loves.

Matthew has been selflessly caring for orphans in his community, along with his three younger siblings, since the tragic loss of his parents in a car accident. Despite dealing with unimaginable grief & immense challenges; Matthew as a tribute to the amazing man his father was continues to run the orphanage that his father once did, relying on donations and any possible job he can find to make ends meet.

One of the urgent needs Matthew is striving to address is the poor drinking water conditions that many of the children in his care face daily. Without access to clean water, these children including Matthew often fall ill and need treatment at there local hospital. Many times they are denied any further medicine or treatment until Matthew is able to pay the doctors. This only adds to the already difficult circumstances they endure as many times Matthew must break it to these children that there is nothing he is able to do as the little money he has is all spent on food & other resources for the orphanage.

Matthew is desperately hoping to raise funds to bring a reliable water filtration system to their orphanage in Uganda. This system will drastically improve the health and well-being of the children but also ensure a safer environment for the local community.

Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of these children who have already faced so much hardship. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards securing clean water, giving medical attention to the children & improving the living conditions at the orphanage.
