A restorative justice program for sexual violence
Donation protected
Hi! We are Alicia Nichols and Sarah Super, and we are building a community-based restorative justice program for sexual violence called Truthworks.
Based in the Twin Cities metro area, Truthworks will provide:
- Restorative processes in response to sexual violence for individuals and institutions,
- Training to enhance our community's ability to respond to sexual violence,
- Workshops for survivors exploring a restorative framework,
- Workshops for people who have caused sexual harm to explore a restorative framework, and
- Advocacy for policy that expands and enhances restorative justice in Minnesota.
At this time, we are seeking support for start-up costs, including:
- Purchasing a website domain and building a website
- Purchasing Google Workspace for professional communication and organization
- Purchasing a Zoom business account
- Logo, branding, and photography.
Survivors of sexual violence deserve healing, the truth to be told, and better support from community. Those who perpetrate deserve accountability that upholds their humanity and transforms beliefs and behaviors to stop further harm.
We are excited about this new project and so appreciate your support!
