Bridge Over Troubled Waters : Ed & Trudy Morgan

Donation protected
Hi There, I am Tracey Morgan, Sister to Ed Morgan, someone most of you will know, respect and love.

Ed is that guy...the guy who is always there to help when you need him. He is the guy whom many know as friend. He is the guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and who will give you his last dollar or bend over backward to make sure your needs are met well before he thinks of himself. Ed is the guy who will work all hours of the day and night in many roles and not complain even when he is physically and mentally exhausted. Ed is that guy who will tell you he is ok and march on even when he is unwell. Ed is quiet but caring and always kind. He is strong and stands tall when many would have broken. The weight of the world is always resting on poor Eds shoulders.

Ed and his wife Trudy are the couple who seem to have a big dark cloud constantly looming over their heads no matter what they do. If it weren't for bad luck, there would be no luck at all.
6 years ago, Trudy went for surgery on her back. Immediately after her surgery, Trudy suffered a stroke and has been living with multiple complications since then. Their home in GooseBay was flooded; some pipes had burst after a deep freeze while they were in St John's.

Just over a year ago, Ed gave his family a huge scare after a fall from his roof. A difficult time to be sure, the country was in total lockdown therfore we couldn't go be with him and help. Thankfully Ed survived, but he still has some difficulties as a result of his brain injury he suffers.

There have been multiple trips to St John's for Drs appointments and surgeries for Trudy and Ed over the last few years, particularly this past year. More complications have arisen for Trudy. Trudy had surgery on her leg in January due to clots. She has remained in hospital since early January. Trudy cannot be released from hospital until their home undergoes a series of renovations to make it barrier free for Trudy. Estimates have been as high as $22,000.

Since then, Trudy's foot and leg have become infected, and now that infection has progressed to the point of yet another surgery. The goal is to remove the infection but the very real possibility of amputation is looming.

On top of all this, both Eddie and Trudy now have contracted COVID!!!

My goal is to try and raise as much money for my Brother Ed and Trudy as possible. Although it wont fix any of the health concerns they both have, at least it can help relieve some of the financial burdens and stresses that Ed is bearing while trying to have the home improvements done for Trudy.
I know people are still recovering from these crazy times of covid and inflation is at an all time high, so I am not expecting miracles. What I am asking is, if you can afford to skip your Tims or Starbucks for the week in order to help out my brother, someone whom is truly in need and deserving of your generosity.

Thank you all so much for any support you are able to give.
Warmest regards and remember to always be kind!
