Transplant Medication

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and i’m fundraising for my mom Maria. My mom is 60 and is a mother of four and a very caring person. She tries her best to be the best mother to her family and a good person and friend overall. Six years ago she started suffering from cirrhosis and has slowly gotten worse over time. Through the years there have been countless doctors tell us she was never going to make it due to how bad her liver was. After many hospital visits and after 4 years of being on the transplant list, on Monday, August 1st, my mom received a liver transplant. The transplant was successful thankfully, but the price of the medicine for her body to not reject the liver is a bit out of price of what we can afford specially after paying for doctors visits, hospital stay and days she wasn’t able to work due to pain or complications. We are trying our best but with my dad unable to work due to his own injury things are a bit hard.
