HELP ME INSPIRE HOPE & BREAK A WORLD RECORD

My name is Damilare Arowolo, but many know me as "Ugly Wolf." I am a boxer, a two-time National Sports Festival champion in Nigeria, and now, I am on a mission to break a world record and give back to the community that raised me.

MY STORY

I grew up in a challenged community in Nigeria, where every day felt uncertain. Many of us had no access to education, no opportunities, and no hope for the future. Survival was the only goal. Like many others, I turned to the streets, and the streets taught me tough lessons.

Then, I found boxing. It became my escape, my dream. But it was not easy. My family almost disowned me because they believed boxing was for hooligans. I had no training gear, no support, and at one point, I almost gave up.

Then, GLOVES FOR AFRICA changed everything. They gave me not just a pair of boxing gloves, but hope. That one act of kindness reignited my dream. With those gloves, I trained harder than ever. I went from a kid with no direction to becoming a two-time National Sports Festival Champion.

BREAKING A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD

Now, I am pushing myself beyond limits. I am attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon on a punching bag. The current record stands at 55 hours, 15 minutes—I am going for 60 hours.

This is not just about setting a record; it is about showing young people in my community that dreams can come true.

I have already completed 5 hours non-stop, and on March 12th, I will attempt 12 hours as part of my preparation. The final 60-hour challenge is coming in April, and I need your support to make history.

THE WORLD IS TAKING NOTICE

Because of my consistency and dedication, I am now being recognized by the World Boxing Council (WBC)! They sent me a branded T-shirt and cap as a sign of support.

Even Oleksandr Usyk, the world champion, has noticed my journey and sent me some of his personal T-shirts.

Brands in the UK have also reached out, sending me boxing kits to support my training. These gestures mean the world to me, but I still have a long way to go to achieve my dream and help others like me.

WHY I NEED YOUR SUPPORT

This journey is bigger than me. I am using this opportunity to raise funds for GLOVES FOR AFRICA, the foundation that gave me my first boxing gloves. Together, we can help more young individuals who are struggling like I once was.

Beyond that, my ultimate goal is to build a school in my community, giving children access to education and a future beyond the streets.
