Summer Hygiene Bag Sponsorship

While the blazing sun and rain storms intensify, the conditions of Florida become less comfortable. For those who sleep on the streets and under bridges, this is especially true. Thousands of homeless men, women, and children are exposed to the harsh elements- left vulnerable to the heat and humidity. Without the items necessary for maintaining their health many of them suffer through the long summer.

As Muslims, we know the well being of the community is our responsibility and we are commanded to help people (regardless of their religion). For such a reason, Project Downtown is renewing their effort to distribute hygiene products to those in need.

For the cost of $14 a bag can be assembled with deodorant, bug spray, sun screen, a rain parka, soap, a soap container, a comb, a tooth brush, tooth paste, and a razor.

With the grace of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'Ala), and the help of your generous donation we hope we'll be able to deliver the assistance our friends are requesting.
