The Contreras Family

On July 9th Grace Contreras and her two youngest daughters, Susanna and Rosalie were hit by a driver while walking on a sidewalk. Tragically, Grace died at the scene and the girls are currently in critical condition at UC Davis hospital. Our hearts break for the Contreras family as they walk through this difficult time and we want to do everything we can to help them. David has asked us to pray for their recovery, specifically the decreased swelling in their sweet girls’ brains. This pain is immense and words will never be enough to express the sadness we feel as a result of this moment. Please pray for this precious family as they process this trauma and deal with the grief of it all. In times like these, we weep with those who weep, and mourn with those who mourn, as well as pause to pray, lament and cry out to God for His sufficient grace and healing. Right now, the most pressing needs are for prayer and financial support as they as they have a long journey ahead of them. The Contreras are a well loved part of their church family and have sacrificially loved and poured into so many. This page is a practical way to surround them with our support and encouragement.
