Help Noah Get a Service Dog

Hi, everyone! My name is Noah, and I am a disabled transguy.

A while back, I crowdfunded for my power wheelchair. There was an overwhelming response, and I am still so grateful for the contributions to this day. I was able to get the power wheelchair, and it has changed my life. I was able to go back to school at Montclair State University, and my first semester there I got a 3.9 GPA. I joined school organizations and volunteered for events. None of which could have happened without the help of my wheelchair.

Now, I am once upon calling among my community to help me raise some funds. I am trying to gather the money to put a deposit on a puppy that will be trained to be my service dog.

I am so lucky to have amazing friends and roommates who train service dogs all day long for a living, and they have extended me such kindness and have offered to help me train my service dog for a reasonable price. This would normally be the largest expense of the process, but they are willing to help me out!

So, the hardest part becomes gathering the money to purchase a puppy from a reliable breeder, that has passed all health checks. I am looking to get either a Standard Poodle, or some other form of Doodle.

A service dog could help me in so many ways while I am out of the house on my own, or even while at home. From pushing door buttons for me while I’m in my chair, and item retrieval, to medical alert, and behavior interruption; there are so many different helpful tasks a dog can be trained to do to help me.
