Xiaojun Chen family travel and funeral cost

Xiaojun Chen, a 43-year-old Chinese national was on a motorbike, working for food delivery service HungryPanda on the evening of September 29 when he was in a collision with a bus in the Sydney suburb of Zetland.

Mr Chen was working as a food delivery driver to send money home to China to pay for the livelihoods of his wife Lihong Wei, their 15-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son as well as both his and his wife's disabled parents.

Since creating this fund for the late Mr Chen, i have personally been in contact with he's wife, Lihong Wei.
Ms Wei is currently in Australia laying her husband to rest and will be travelling back to China at the beginning of November. Plans are now in place for the monies that have been raised to be given to her whilst she is here in Australia.
I started this fundraiser as a Zetland community member where this tragic accident occurred.



As a community let’s unite together and hopefully with our donations we can support Mr Chen’s family, with their heartbreaking journey ahead with the funeral, travel and ongoing living expenses.
