Xitlalli's Gender Affirming Surgery
Donation protected
Xitlalli Sixta Tarin is an interdisciplinary video artist currently studying to get her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She plans on completing her degree this December 2019, but unfortunately cannot afford the summer course she has planned to take. The past few months have been very difficult emotionally, and financially for Xitlalli, having to find new housing after losing her best friend & roommate to an asthma attack, and continuing her pursuit of a gender-confirming surgery scheduled for July 15. At this point Xitlalli is in a space where she can no longer afford both her education, and transition needs, and is asking for the community's support. Finishing her degree is extremely important to her, being a trans woman of Latinx/Indigenous descent, and being among the first generation in her family to graduate from university.
Anything that you donate will be going directly to her tuition funds and surgery costs. No amount is too small.
