Medical and Hospital Bills

Greetings, my name is Tabitha Grimes. On April 29, 2023, my aunt Cassie Grimes-Ponder had a devastating fall from the back of a uhaul truck while moving. Her severed spinal cord was immediately repaired. Unfortunately, she has been left paralyzed from the neck down. She is currently at her 2nd medical facility in the PCU. Being that she is paralyzed, she is unable to acquire any type of funds. She currently has no income due to her 3 months plus hospitalization. Her current insurance has been exhausted and it is a lengthy wait to start her Social Security.

There was a medical bed delivered to her residence in preparation of her unknown release. The bed was taken back due to funding. She is unable to go to a rehabilitation center due to funding.

Cassie is a 61 year old Atlanta resident with 2 sons that are doing the best they can to ensure she stay optimistic.

I am requesting monetary donations in order for her to continue her needed medical care. The donations will be used for Cassie to do physical therapy, occupational therapy, purchase a medical bed, a lift and a customized wheelchair.
