As a long time (16 years+) resident of this county, I care about what happens here. My husband and I built our home here in 1999 and we are committed to Isle of Wight.
I am the most qualified candidate. I have 25 years of experience in the field of law. I've been both a former prosecutor and defense attorney handling everything from minor misdemeanors to capital murder, and over twenty years of federal criminal practice. Having practiced on both sides of the fence gives me a more balanced perspective. My decades of defense practice provide me with insight into what the weaknesses of the case are and knowing one's weaknesses can only make you a better prosecutor.
I want to see a Commonwealth's office that actively engages the County’s citizens, and helps promote safe schools and a safe community. By attending civic league meetings and talking to the community, I will listen to the citizens' concerns and use that information to work with local law enforcement to come up with good crime fighting strategies to keep our county a safe place to work and live in.
