This page is to raise money to help a very special 18 year old girl who, while traveling along life’s path, has hit a roadblock no one should ever have to encounter.
Anna Haney graduated from high school in May of 2015… her life’s journey, full of hope and promise, just beginning to take shape. Only months later, in the Fall of 2015, she began to notice discomfort in her leg. The leg then began to swell. Many doctor visits and medical tests later, she heard that dreadful word – cancer. Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath is a rare type of cancer, especially for someone of her young age.
Anna’s journey to beat this cancer has just begun. She began treatment January 25. The exact course of treatment is still being determined, but one thing is for certain… many weeks, or months, lie ahead in this battle.
Anna remains in great spirits despite her pain. She is strong, optimistic and full of faith that she, along with the help of God, will prevail.
The financial cost associated with this journey will be significant. There will be insurance deductibles totaling multiple thousands of dollars as well lost wages for her and those caring for her. Financial hardships are already starting to be a source of concern.
