Single Mama Needs Help

Hi there folks!

My names Mylo and I've started this fundraiser to help my good friend Nimby , and her 1 year old baby Fern with material supports such as money for firewood /heating and purchasing another vehicle for transportation.

Throughout the past few months Ferns father and Nimby have separated, after relationship tensions that lead to him physically assaulting Nimby twice, resulting in a no contact order and arrest.

In the process of this he also damaged a bunch of her property including her only vehicle by driving into a ditch/slash pile to which has now rendered it useless.

A vehicle is vital for access to everything , as she lives off grid 45 minutes from town.

Although this order should keep them safe, it has left Nimby without any help, and support for raising fern or maintaining the off grid cabin she's lives in, and chores involved...and family lives too far away to be present as often as needed.

She has just moved recently to a new community in Lund (due to unavailability of rentals available in her community in Roberts Creek) and unfortunately she does not have community connections so is very isolated, making this transition harder.

I have been trying to be as supportive as possible but cannot be around often enough for the support she needs, as I do not live in lund myself. And can't stay for lengthy visits due to the nature of my own living situation on a boat.

She is also looking for money to help with firewood because the wood we have been able to access on the property for her, Is too old, punky and wet to sustain heat for all winter.

Support in terms of community connections and ongoing material and financial donations , home dinners, a vehicle? And child care, are all things Nimby is in need of in the process of supporting Fern as a single mama.
