Xledger Charity bike ride

As part of the culture at Xledger we are committed to doing our part in making a positive impact on the community, as part of this, we are completing a bike ride to raise money for Bear in Mind and Bright Sparks who make a real difference in supporting young people in the local area.

 

From 12th-16th June our team will be cycling a 350-mile roundtrip, ending at the entrance to Ashton Gate.

The route:

Day one: Bristol – Hereford (Approx. 70 miles)

Day two: Hereford – near Oxford (Approx. 78 miles)

Day three: near Oxford – Southampton (Approx. 79 miles)

Day four: Southampton – Weston Super Mare (Approx. 91 – 100 miles)

Day five: Weston Super Mare – Keynsham – Ashton Gate (Approx. 36 miles)

 

Who are Bear in Mind and Bright Sparks?

 

Bristol Bears Community Foundation works with over 8,000 people from the local community every year, helping them to unlock their potential through the power of sport. Xledger has chosen to fundraise for the Bright Sparks and Bear in Mind programmes, led by the Foundation. These programmes focus on young people from some of the most deprived areas in and around the city, using sport to engage with and educate on important topics, supporting young people to navigate the challenges of growing up in the modern world.
