Help Heal Bob Connell

Thank you, dear friends and family for your sweet love and prayers and support over the past couple of months! Four weeks ago my sweetheart came home on Hospice from 18 horrible days in the hospital due to covid. He worked really hard to get well, but his lungs and his heart were damaged by the virus. Yesterday morning he woke up well and happy, but suddenly he took a turn for the worse and was gone a little after noon. We expected Bob to heal completely, so his death is a huge shock for all of us. However, we also trust that the Lord is in charge...that He loves us and knows us and has all power and all knowledge. We also know that we live on after this mortal life...that families are eternal. I will miss my dear husband sooooo much, but I'm so glad that he is out of the constant pain and struggle. We are so thankful for the four weeks we had together here at home and for the many tender mercies and miracles that we were given daily. We will have a memorial service at our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3155 Trickum Rd NE, Marietta GA 30066, June 5th at 11 am...and an open house at our home that afternoon at 3 to 5 pm. ob Connell was finally sent home from the hospital with hospice care via ambulance after 18 days of battling COVID-19 to pass peacefully in his own home. But the medical staff doesn’t know the strength and faith of the Connell family! Bob was extremely weak and mostly incoherent upon arriving home. In the last 5 days, he has been hydrated, nourished and loved by all 8 of his children. This evening he joined his daughters in singing a couple lines of one of his favorite Neil Diamond songs! Please understand we know this will be a very long, hard, expensive road to recovery, but we’re not giving up! Please help Suzie & Bob get to their 53rd anniversary together.
