“Farewell to Matthew: A Lasting Legacy”
Donation protected
With a heavy heart, I'm pouring out my emotions to let you know that Matthew has passed away. It's been an incredibly tough time since Friday the 14th when Matt started having trouble breathing and heart issues. Kathy, Ryan, and Kyle were right there by his side, holding on to him tightly. Kathy stayed in bed with him until he made his journey to the other side. His last sweet words were "I'm sorry mom, I love you".
Matthew was such an amazing person—compassionate, funny, and kind to the core. He had a deep love for video games and cherished every single day spent with his mom and his brothers Andrew, Kyle, and Ryan. Their bond was unbreakable, like nothing I've ever seen before. They shared countless laughs, adventures, and cherished moments together. Matthew was not just a loving brother; he was also a great uncle to Dominic. They shared the same passion for video games, and Matthew took the time to teach Dominic valuable life lessons along the way. Their connection was special and filled with warmth.
Kathy's intuition and soul were in sync with Matthew's in the most beautiful way imaginable. She gave her all and more to take care of him. Matthew truly had a beautiful life and was the rock of our family. Without him, we're completely shattered, struggling to find our footing and return to some sense of normalcy.
Kathy dedicated her life to Matthew, giving him everything she had. This is why I've set up this GoFundMe—to help give Matthew the send-off he deserves. This loss caught us off guard, and we weren't prepared for the financial burdens that come with arranging a funeral.
So, today, I'm reaching out to anyone who can lend a helping hand. Please, if you're able to, donate towards Matthew's funeral expenses. It would mean the world to our broken family.
We'll be forever grateful for any support you can offer. And in this difficult healing process, we ask for your prayers—for Kathy, for all of us—as we try to piece ourselves back together. We're holding on to each other and trying to find some comfort in this painful journey. Your presence and contributions bring us a glimmer of hope during these dark times, and we can't thank you enough.
To each and every one of you, I want you to know how truly thankful I am. Your kindness and empathy shine through, providing us with a lifeline of support. It's through your love and generosity that we can find strength and begin to heal, knowing that Matthew's love and laughter, his cherished bond with his brothers, and his role as a loving uncle to Dominic, will forever warm our hearts.
