This fund has been established to help cover medical and funeral expenses for our family who has lost it's littlest angel, Calliah Jolie Cunningham to myocarditis
(inflammation of the heart) this passed Fathers Day.
Our little LiLi returned to heaven two weeks shy of her first birthday.

We arrived at the hospital Saturday night thinking baby Liah was possibly battling the side effects of teething, and we would take her back home in a couple hours.
After several tests and a episode of multiple seizures, we knew we were in over our heads. As a mother who is still in shock, I have to spare you the hurtful details. All I can say is her condition worsened by the hour and before we knew it her heart was too weak to pump on its own. Myocarditis has no major symtoms untill its last stages. We hope our story can bring forth awareness to this condition that has plagued numerous families.

We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses
that were working so hard to save our little Liah’s life.
We are eternally grateful for all you did and tried to do.
(Tradition Medical Center, the Air Rescue team,
St. Mary’s Medical Center, and the team from
Joe DiMaggio’s children’s hospital) We would also like to thank everyone who sent up prayers for Calliah and our family. We are so appreciative for the love and support.

Liah left behind such an amazing family that loved her so dearly including My husband and I, our seven year old daughter and our baby boy who we’re expecting by mid September. There’s nothing I can type to express the amount of pain that we feel right now. We knew instantly God blessed us when she entered this world, and we trust in the Lord that she served her purpose here on earth. Her passing will not be in vein, for we are forever changed as a family and will become stronger through these trying times. Through all of this we still know that we are truly blessed and appreciative for all God has done and will continue to do.

Unfortunately Calliah did not have a chance to make it through her first year. So instead of mourning her death, we are celebrating her life and laying her to rest on her birthday July 5th, 2015. From all of this I want people to remember how precious life is and not to take any day for granted. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story, and we ask you share this to as many people as possible.
