Please bring our Dana Martin back home to the US

Hello friends! My special sister Dana was admitted into the hospital in Mexico four days ago while visiting our mom for Christmas. At first the doctors thought she had bacterial meningitis. We were preparing to say our goodbyes and she was moved to ICU after testing positive for COVID, she went into pulmonary issue, she had a stroke and she is now experiencing kidney failure. . She is currently on life support. Unfortunately she has no Medical insurance as Medicaid does not cover medical care outside the USA.
Dana has brought joy and showed so much love to all who know her. She accepts each person fully, never having expectations of anything from anyone but to be loved and the middle of things. When you left being in Dana's presence you felt a little more love than when you entered!
I whole heartily believe that prayer has saved Dana’s life. She was being prayed for by so many and we couldn’t be more grateful that we went from saying our goodbyes to now an up and down roller coaster. We have just been told she must remain on life support at least another week it appears. Her kidneys are not responding, and she has pulmonary issues. At this point we do not know if she will make it.
Her care is costing in excess of $10,000 per day due to the ICU level of care required. The hospital and family are trying to get her air vac home once she is medically stable enough to possibly make the trip. We know it will be at last 3 more days before we can do this.
Danas medical bills are now exceeding $100,000 and projected to be in excess of 500,000 if we can't get her back home to get her insurance to cover these bills. This need is big. The family appreciates all prayers and support and are so grateful for every gesture that has been shown to them. We are firm believers it has so far saved her life. This is so hard for us to do to ask for help but the costs are quickly exceeding our abilities especially with the air vac. We need our community more than ever. We thank you greatly.

our roller coaster continues. As Paige said, we are now trying to get Dana stable enough to get back to US for care. She is not as stable. She is better and then worse. Her complicated situation well complicates her getting better. we will be having a major meeting with hospital team tomorrow to layout her next few days with these changes.
Everyone. It is with incredible JOY that I share Dana has been upgraded to a survival rate of 80%!!! Dana is doing a lot better on ventilator.
Survival expectancy is now 80%. Onunoa is getting better as are other indexations.
The doctors are also optimistic that this rest, and the lack of neurological problems getting worse means that she will also get somewhat better in this area.
They think there is a good chance of her getting much better cognitively, and possibly better to a degree from the paralysis.
She will be on ventilator for at least another 7 days. when they will start taking her off of sedation and will be able to do some further tests.
Please don't stop the prayers, getting off of the vent will be difficult for her fear etc.
