Cancer Sucks

Rest in Peace our friend - 10:59am February 5th, 2019.
In September, 2018 our good friend Nate Davis was diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer). The cancer had also spread to his lungs. After successfully removing his infected kidney and tumor, Nate quickly faced another hurdle as he developed a C Diff infection shortly after the surgery. He endured surgery to remove the infection and consequently had to have 90% of his colon removed. Still, he continued to be determined to win his fight against cancer. During the past several months he has fought valiantly in hopes of defeating this terrible disease, with his wife, children, family, and friends as his driving motivation. Sadly, Nate passed away Tuesday morning (Feb 5th) surrounded by family and close friends.
At the time of his diagnosis, Nate had just embarked on fullfilling a lifelong dream of starting his own business. During this transition he was able to obtain medical insurance, but unfortunately that will not be enough to cover all of the related expenses. At this time we are trying to raise $25,000 that will go directly to his wife Alicia and their family to assist with these many immediate expenses. Anything above this amount will obviously be given to them to cover future expenses which will quickly be coming in.
Nate is an amazing individual who has touched many lives. He continually provided service to others and gave everything he could to those less fortunate than himself. Our hope is to try and continue the generosity that we have learned from Nate these many wonderful years of knowing him. His positive outlook on life is infectious, and his influence will last a lifetime.
Please read about Nate's inspirational story on his blog listed below. Nate leaves behind his beautiful wife Alicia and their four wonderful children.

On behalf of Nate's family, let me express a sincere thank you for your assistance in this difficult time. Each dollar will make a significant difference but more importantly is the love and support from the people behind the donation.
