New beginnings

Tammy has been looking for places to live and has came up short. If anyone knows of a 3 bedroom place to rent please reach out to us. As for now she is crashing at our place and has been able to purchase some things for her home from some very generous people. Her and the kids are doing great in therapy and I think their anxiety is a little less intense. She is still a ways away from the goal but everyone’s generosity has helped tremendously! Thank you again to everyone for your donations, kind words, thoughts and prayers.

Here is an update from today Sunday 05/21/23.

My husband, 2 cousins, a family friend, the kids dad and step-mom, along with myself moved Tamara’s stuff out of the house and into a moving van.

She was the victim of domestic violence for 6 years. For 6 years a man controlled EVERYTHING about her life. Today we witnessed first hand what that looks like. I cried a few times, especially looking at the blood on the floor, the dust they used looking for finger prints and their stuff thrown everywhere. I MADE her leave behind her bed, the kids beds, dressers, ALL her kitchen gadgets, plates, cups and her couch where Anna’s nose was broken and Tammy was knocked around. You name it she left it.

She can buy new stuff, but that’s going to take time. If anyone has usable items they could part with for cheap please message me. It’s going to be a long road ahead, but they will be ok. We don’t know if the guys who did all of this was caught. All I know is she and the kids are safe and that’s all matters.

Hi my name is Tiffany and I’m Tamara’s sister. As some of you know my sister and her 2 kids were held at gun point in their home and robbed. Her house, food, some furniture and clothing was destroyed. She left everything behind and will only going back for what can be used or washed.

A lot of you have asked what is needed. This is what she needs! Tamara is needing help getting the money for first and last months rent. This is by far the most important thing needed. She will not be returning any where close to where she was living. This money is also going towards trauma therapy for her and the kids.

They have been through so much and this was a HUGE wake up call for her. My family almost died that day and the thought of that makes me loose sleep at night. So if you can please find it in your hearts to donate anything at all, it is greatly appreciated. She is desperately needing to find a home and start all over.
