Sadaqah Jariyah for Layla Ahmad Jaludi

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

As-salamu alaykum, our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of our beloved Aunt Layla Ahmad Jaludi, who fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. For the past five years, she's been undergoing countless intense rounds of chemotherapy, constantly fighting and staying strong. Evidently, the cancer spread throughout her body, taking a toll on her physically, but Alhamdulilah it never broke her spirit.

3amto Layla was the truest form of love and selfless, even as her body grew weaker, her faith remained strong. She never once complained about the pain or the hardships she endured. Instead, she focused on her family and her deen. She taught each of us the true meaning of patience and trust in Allah’s plan.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him."

In her memory, We've decided to build a well as a form of Sadaqah Jariya ensuring that her good deeds continue to benefit others even long after she has left this dunya. Our goal is to raise $4,000 to construct this well that will give an entire community (1000 people), access to clean and safe drinking water.

As far as Sadaqah Jariyah, we have collected to build a water well under her name as a form of it. Alhamdulilah we have donated a 45 meter water well in bangladish and inshAllah it will benefit her and everyone who’s donated.
