I am the first member in my family to graduate from college and I will also be the first to attend medical school!
Since it took an entire village to get me to where I am today, I am once again asking the village to help me get one step further in my education.
I have roughly spent over $1000 on applications, entrance exams, and traveling expenses for interviews already.
Now that I am at the doorstep of acceptance, some deposits can be as high as $3000.
For example, I was accepted into AUC and the deposit is $1000 while if accepted into NMSU the deposit would be $3000.
The average cost of one year of medical school is $50,000. As this is a very expensive process I am trying to limit my loan amounts to only educational expenses such as tuition and living once admitted.
I am hoping to have enough money to put down a deposit to reserve my spot and have a little left over to aid us in our move to attend medical school.
I am reaching out to all my friends and family to see if we can make this dream of mine come true!
