A brother needs help

I’m raising money for a brother who is sadly and unexpectedly in a nasty way, someone who has served his country and protected soldiers like myself while we did our job in the dust. Someone who has been there in my darkest hours as the best of mates.

Taraidh is a father, a husband, a protector and a soldier. Taraidh had a significant mountain biking accident and has suffered severe injuries. He underwent surgery most of the following night to restore a break in the C6-7 of his spine, was flown to Melbourne Austin Hospital ICU and spent time in their Spinal Ward.

At this stage we don’t know how severe the paralysis is and if it affects part of or most of his arms down.

Update - Taraidh has been moved to the Royal Talbot Rehab Centre in Melbourne for further treatment and Rehab in their Spinal Ward and we pray for some good news - it may be a while before we know the true extent of his injuries. He is a strong soul and is working day by day with what he has.

I'm reaching out as I’ve quickly come to realize that his wife and family are going to need help, much of that will be emotional and some significant financial support.
