The Hughes family

Hello my name is Tawnya, I'm trying to Raise funds to help support my young family in this time of need. My husband Jerry suffered a catastrophic injury in December which has left him unable to work. This has caused him major stress due to the fact he's now unable to provide for his family. His mobility has been compromised and he is in Constant pain. He is currently waiting for a hip replacement but that's at least a year out. As people who know Jerry know that he is an avid runner And Strong supporter off Help Fill a Dream. Helping with fundraising for them for many years as Jerry received a dream holiday as a child from them for his family.

He most recently accomplished breaking the Canadian national record for longest distance ran in 48 hours. Obviously, This injury has left him unable to run which has taken an effect on his mental health.

Yesterday, Jerry went for a walk that he had planned on not returning from. He is currently in hospital recovering, but with a very long road ahead.

I need to be off work to care for our 4 young children & Even once Jerry returns home I will need to be the sole caregiver & supporter for our children & Jerry leaving no time for me to maintain a steady income.
