Help Rev. Cecil Gray, Ph.D., Lead New Beginnings

Hi, I am Cecil Conteen Gray humbly asking for your support to be able to continue my work of twenty years of teaching, institution building, and offering servant-leadership in the areas of Spiritual Education, Historical Education, and Cultural Education.  Hoping the initial goal of $2,000 is achieved quickly, new goals will be set so the work continues and grows.

At this time, for my daughter, for myself, for all who have been served, and for all who will be served, it is necessary to continue forward, to begin anew.

"New Beginnings" is the name of this stage of my Journey.  "Oasis" is the name of the work I am doing and the name of the virtual/online and real/in-person space, institution, and community that is being cultivated.      
                                                                 
Oasis is a new reality.  Oasis is about our hearts, the content of our character, and the quality of the rest of our lives.  A love for Growth and Truth is the doorway, the pathway, to Oasis.  Oasis is about Living the Best of Our Lives for the Rest of Our Lives. 

Oasis sees life as it is, tells the truth about life as it is, offers ways of having a good life in the midst of life as it is, and shares Growth and Truth to help make life better than it is.

Oasis offers peace, caring, solace, and support.  Oasis sees that many people, both younger and older people, are understandably tired right now…tired and anxious.  This must change.  

So, in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic, and in the midst of a global anxiety pandemic, Oasis is here.  As educational structures work for some, do not really work well for others, and morph for all, Oasis is here.  Too many leaders at almost every level and of every sort seem to be almost unable to embrace the reality of Truth and the importance of Truth.  Oasis is here.  

Oasis is a space, a place, a community, and a growing institution where all people  can rest, heal, be safe, share, learn, grow, and be at peace.  At Oasis, all are Received, Respected, and Accepted: younger and older people, People of Color (POC) and non-POC, LGBTQIA2S people, differently abled people, people with few resources and those with overflowing resources, people of all cultures, and all other people who desire Growth and Truth.  Come to Oasis.  Come Home.

As one who has lived in and bridged between diverse communities, it seems clear that now is an excellent time to move beyond and live beyond the false divisions.  A new, healthy reality must manifest now.  In my Journey, I have been blessed to see Unity, Harmony, and Sanity prevail -- when people of integrity do the needed work together.

The core value of my life is this: People -- All People -- are Precious and of Immense and Immeasurable Worth.  So, let's live the Best of Our Lives for the Rest of Our Lives, learning and living Growth, Peace, and Truth.  I am asking you for your support, and I am asking you to join me on This Journey of New Beginnings.
