New engine in my wheelchair van

Hello, my name is Ronnie Wexler. I am 66 years young but I act and feel a lot younger. I am a retired Disc Jockey ..aka Rockin Ron back in New York. I was born with Cerebral Palsy among other things and have been confined to a wheelchair for the past 12 years. Despite all of my disabilities, I never let them get me down or interfere with my daily activities. I love going to concerts and getting out to sporting events, such as roller derby, which is in other towns that I cannot get to it without my van.
The reason that I am trying to raise funds, is that I have a Chevy Venture Mini Van with wheelchair access and it is my pride and joy yet alone my only means of transportation. I bought it with my own savings, and help from my family here in Oxnard (who also going to help me pay for the new engine). My van has been pretty good mechanically until recently where it has being having issues. It has just been discovered that the engine is blown and will need a compete rebuild due to it having over 246,000 Miles. It left my caregiver and I stranded in the middle of the 101 Freeway on our way to a concert (which we never got to), and we had to be towed back home on a AAA flatbed 25 miles from Santa Barbara…scarry J
Im trying to raise 3500.00 for a new engine and labor cost. I love my minivan and cannot afford to pay that amount of money while on a limited Social Security income. I try my best to buy and sell items on Ebay as a side source of income but I am just not that successful to raise that much. I am using public transportation for around town errands and doctor appointments locally, but Im limited to doing what makes me enjoy life.
If you can afford I would appreciate any amount of money, whether it be $1 or $100. Also, please share my link with all your friends on Facebook, and other social media. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much. Ronnie
