Mila's Surgery Fund

Hi, there!

My name is Mila Myles, and I'm a transgender woman who lives in Los Angeles, CA.

I'm scheduled to have my gender confirmation surgery in mid-December, but I need to ensure I can pay the initial cost. I'm launching this GoFundMe to take some stress off my brain and ensure my surgery happens no matter what.

I need to come up with $4,200 by the surgery date to pay for my share, the amount leftover after insurance. I'm making the goal for this fundraiser $5,000, however, with the additional $800 dedicated to paying my separate insurance premiums for the month.

This surgery is essential for my physical and mental health. While not every transgender person experiences genital dysphoria, I do, and it's only getting worse. This surgery is necessary for me to move confidently within society, with more joy and less fear, and finally, begin living my life fully as Mila.
