Laura Mac Donald

Dear Friends & Family, 

Laura is a 49 year old woman who has worked in the healthcare field her entire life. She has been working as a nurse the past 10 years but now this nurse needs your help. 

 Laura suffers from health problems including a heart condition that she has been learning to live with and for the last year has been dealing with side effects from both COVID and its vaccine. 

 While visiting out of state to celebrate Thanksgiving, Laura was hospitalized. She is now undergoing medical treatment and is suffering from severe edema (swelling) in her limbs and face. Laura has developed multiple blood clots in her legs and neck, impairing her mobility and breathing. Laura requires oxygen and can only eat purred foods. Laura is not able to care for herself as she has done for so many others. As a result, Laura has been out of work and is currently without medical coverage.

 Laura has always been the one willing to sacrifice anything and everything for someone. She's always been generous to her patients, friends, and family. Now, in return but not by choice, life is forcing her to slow down and reach for help rather than give it. 

 We know this is a big ask, and we greatly appreciate any support we can receive in an effort to ease the financial burden on Laura so she can concentrate on her health and the long journey ahead.
